Nothing moves without both of you
Either parent can ask for a change. It only reaches the calendar once the other one approves it, and a refusal has to come with a reason.
The balance keeps itself
Swapped nights are counted as they happen and kept in their own class, so a Friday owed is never quietly settled with a Tuesday.
Two accounts, nobody else
A calendar is exactly two people, and both of them are named when it is opened. Sign-in is Google only, and an account that is not on the calendar is turned away at the door — there is no way to add a third from inside.
